General Statement of RoHS Compliance under RoHs Directive (2015/863/EU)

Legislation relating to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic products requires us to assure our customers of our compliance in this regard. Crystran products are optical components but nevertheless we confirm that none of the products we manufacture contain any significant amount of the restricted substances and that they are all >99.99% pure materials as stated. We have determined however that some coatings that we subcontract may contain banned substances and if that is likely, customers will be advised at point of order. These increased listings. additional to Directive 2011/65/EU come into effect 22 July 2019. The statutory substances and limits are listed here:
